Job Description

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for aiding in the development and
implementation of SCF’s marketing and communications strategies. She/he will be responsible for managing social media platforms, newsletters, updating the website, expanding social media exposure and promoting SCF programs and events. We are looking for someone who has experience increasing engagement and delivering social media campaigns to drive more clicks, followers and more.

Job Duties

  • Work with designers, writers, editors and other creative staff to produce marketing collateral in accordance with SCF’s mission
  • Develop marketing plans within budget requirements
  • Create a newsletter for SCF
  • Edit content to ensure that all communications are appropriately worded (both in grammar and in
  • Aid in the development and/or creation of new logos, letterheads, etc.
  • Update SCF website
  • Manage social media platforms
  • Other related duties as assigned


  • College/University student or graduate
  • 1 year of work experience in marketing
  • Experience in creating and executing successful marketing materials
  • Experience in campaign management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and to ensure they are clearly communicated
    to an audience
  • Arabic language is an asset

Work Conditions

  • Work may require flexibility in hours
  • Duration: 8 weeks

Salary: $14.25 per hour

Hours required: 35 hours per week
